THOUGHTS
Oh Rapunzel! My love and my pride! Never have I loved a Disney character this much! I find lots of my childhood personality in her, and I think my sister does as well. That is why we decided to make Rapunzel and Flynn! Never have we had so much trouble with costumes and wigs, and never have we used that amount of money! The dress was not difficult to make - it just took a HELL of a time.. Reason? Look at the embroidery and painted fabric.. Because I'm stupid I DID paint the fabric and DID make the embroidery old fashion... The wig was a blast, and is made out of two long blonde wigs, and 5 pair of extensions. It was mainly constructed by my sister - I was to afraid to mess something up.. But hell main! I'm glad with the result, and love her to the fullest! My sister and I made a simple skit to SVS-con 2011, it really wasn't anything special, but we won Best Craft! Can you believe it?! My sisters Flynn was also incredible! Another fun story with this costume would be when the Disney Store in Copenhagen, Denmark opened. We wore the costumes at the opening, and got interview to the Danish Disney Channel. That was cool, but the best part of the day, was the small kids, and especially the girls whom looked at me with their big eyes and adored the character that I was wearing to their fullest. Never have a costume meant more to me... :)
